V10F — Virtual Analog Synthesizer Plugin
Vintage character. Modern possibilities.
Deep basses, expressive leads, hypnotic sequences and unusual textures: V10F brings a distinctive approach to monophonic synthesis into your DAW.
Inspired by the Kawai 100F, V10F combines a hands-on synthesis layout with tools that extend its creative possibilities. Start with one of 512 factory presets, play directly in MIDI In mode, or turn an idea into a moving phrase with the integrated ARP sequencer.
A Vintage Starting Point. Your Own Sound.
Build your tone with sawtooth or square waveforms, introduce noise, and shape the result with resonant filtering and two independent envelopes.
Move from short, percussive attacks to sustained leads and slowly unfolding textures. Portamento connects your notes, while delayed vibrato and LFO modulation add expression and movement.
The interface keeps the signal flow visible, encouraging you to explore how each section changes the sound.
Two Envelopes. More Ways to Move.
Both envelopes offer ADR, AD and AR modes, giving you different responses for plucks, basses, leads and evolving sounds.
Choose keyboard or LFO triggering, shape pitch and filter movement, and control the amplifier response. Adjust the attack and decay to change how a sound starts, develops and fades.
A three-waveform LFO adds sawtooth, triangle or square modulation, from gradual sweeps to sharply defined rhythmic movement.
Four Filter Modes to Shape Your Character
Choose the response that suits your sound:
- 24 dB low-pass: sculpt focused basses and pronounced resonant sweeps.
- 12 dB low-pass: retain more upper-frequency content with a gentler slope.
- Band-pass: isolate a frequency region for nasal leads and animated textures.
- High-pass: remove low frequencies and explore thinner, sharper tones.
Combine envelope and LFO modulation with audio-rate filter modulation to introduce more complex timbres. An independent high-pass filter provides additional control over the low end.
Put the SUB Where You Want It
Add weight or another tonal layer with the SUB oscillator.
Adjust its octave and choose its position in the signal path. Pre-filter routing lets the main filter shape it alongside the oscillator. Post-filter routing lets it bypass the main filter while remaining part of the instrument’s downstream processing.
Explore both approaches to find the balance your patch needs.
Turn Notes into Patterns
Play V10F directly in MIDI In mode, or use ARP mode to build rhythmic phrases around your performance.
The integrated sequencer provides up to 64 steps and 8 patterns, with selectable playback speeds synchronised to your host.
Edit notes, octaves and rests, adjust pattern length, then copy, shift or transpose your phrases. The eight patterns share the current sound, so you can develop musical variations without changing the patch.
Save your sound and its pattern bank together in a preset.
Randomise with Direction
Generate fresh ideas without giving up musical control.
Choose whether to randomise notes, scale or pattern length. Set the root note, note range and probability of rests to guide the results.
Create a starting point, keep the parts you like and refine the sequence into something of your own.
Five FX Types. Three Slots. Extra Attitude.
Shape your tone with distortion, then combine up to three different effects in a chain:
- Delay for rhythmic repeats and echoes.
- Phaser for sweeping movement.
- Synth Verb for space and atmosphere.
- Chorus for thickness and width.
- Flanger for metallic colour and moving comb-filter textures.
Keep a patch tight and direct, or build a more spacious, animated sound within the instrument.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is V10F?
V10F is a monophonic virtual analog synthesizer plugin from AudioBlast. It combines vintage-inspired synthesis with a pattern sequencer, creative randomisation and integrated effects.
Is V10F inspired by the Kawai 100F?
Yes. The Kawai 100F provides the inspiration for its synthesis approach and control layout. V10F expands that starting point with additional filter modes, SUB routing, sequencing, effects and preset management.
Is V10F polyphonic?
No. V10F is monophonic, making it suited to basslines, leads, sequenced phrases and single-voice sound design.
How many presets are included?
The full version includes 512 factory presets.
Can I play it without using the sequencer?
Yes. MIDI In mode lets you play the instrument directly. Switch to ARP mode when you want to use the pattern sequencer.
Does the sequencer follow my DAW’s tempo?
Yes. ARP playback synchronises to your host and offers selectable playback speeds.
What can I randomise?
You can randomise notes, scale and pattern length, with controls for the root note, note range and probability of rests.
How many effects are available?
V10F includes five FX types—Delay, Phaser, Synth Verb, Chorus and Flanger—across three chainable slots, plus a separate distortion section.
Can I save my own sounds and patterns?
Yes. Presets can store your sound together with its bank of eight patterns.
